WHAT IS DIGITAL ONLINE ACCESS?

The entire course can be taken through our online educational course dashboard. For single users, you will be given instant access upon purchase through your personal PA Dashboard. For group license users, the group leader will purchase the licenses here and each student will receive a coupon code from the group leader to activate their license for the course. The e-course requires internet access, and can be accessed on a computer, tablet, or most handheld devices. Students can scroll through the course content, watch the corresponding videos, and take the tests without ever leaving the program. Digital access also includes our bank of CLEP PREP review questions for your student to take as many practice Final Exams as they wish. The system automatically randomizes the questions, adding new questions to exams.

GROUP, SCHOOL OR FAMILY LICENSE. CAN MORE THAN ONE PERSON USE THE DIGITAL ACCESS CODE?

As homeschool parents ourselves, we understand the budgetary needs associated with curriculum choices. One of our authors homeschooled seven children and another had four, so trust us when we say we understand. We think we have found a good solution to meet the needs of parents and protect our copyrighted material and it’s value, while also helping cover the cost of maintenance, customer service, and developing additional curriculum for families. An “individual” purchase for $99 is a single user license. A “Teacher License” for $99 sets up a group account and each student license is $17. A class or family with 5 students would purchase a Teacher License &  5 student licenses. The Teacher License gives the group leader access to the progress and grades of each student in the group.

FOR WHAT AGE IS THE CURRICULUM DESIGNED?

The course is designed for High School students, which can be 12 to 20 years old, depending on the family or school. However, we have had people aged 8 to 80 go through the Constitution portion of this course and we know from experience that all ages enjoy the material and learn much!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS COURSE AND THE ‘CONSTITUTION ALIVE’ COURSE?

There are a few things similar and many things very, very different. Much of Rick’s Constitution Alive recordings at Independence Hall are included in this new course. The remaining new content is completely different with lots of videos to support the text. While some of the same topics get covered, this new course is specifically designed to meet state standards and to prepare the student for the College CLEP exam.

Rick says that the expert teaching of the new course is light years ahead of what he was able to offer in the old course. In the old course, you only got Rick. Now you get Rick, David Barton, Tim Barton, Dennis Prager, Brad Stine, Nathan Macias, Michelle Bachmann, Dr. Carol Swain, and more!

IS THERE A TEACHER’S VERSION OF THE COURSE?

We do not offer a “teacher version” of the course because everything you need is included in the course delivery. The online access allows students to take the tests and have them graded automatically as well. The group leader/teacher will have access to each students personal profile in order to track progress through the course and mastery of the material.

HOW DO I NAVIGATE THE COURSE?

The most common way to navigate the course is the sidebar. Once you are inside the course you will notice a sidebar to the left of the content with a hierarchy of items that include your chapters, topics and quizzes. You will be able to click and navigate back to the desired topic or chapter (as you advance through the course).

HOW DO I LOG OUT?

You can simply hover over your account icon in the upper-right corner, and click “Logout” when it appears.

HOW DO I LOG IN?

Once you login through the Patriot Academy gateway, your dashboard will appear, and you may then click on the A Republic If You Can Keep It course icon in your Courses Section.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD.. NOW WHAT?

Password reset can be completed by simply click the “Reset Password?”  link on the login gateway!

NOTE: After entering email for password reset, please make sure you check your spam folder also in case it gets filtered as spam by your e-mail provider!

HOW DO I CHECK MY GRADES?

You can see your grades on Your Profile. You can access your profile from the course if you click the “My Profile” link on the sidebar.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE COURSE FROM MY PROFILE?

You can access the course in two ways:

1) Click on “A Republic If You can Keep It” course title at the top of the grade listing.
2) In the grade listing, click on any quiz/test/exam, and it will return you to that page, to either take the assessment again, or use the navigation menu to go to where you want to be in the course!

CAN I GO BACK TO PREVIOUS CHAPTERS AFTER COMPLETION?

Absolutely! You can go back to any of the Chapters and Topics you have already completed!

CAN I TAKE MY QUIZZES/TESTS/EXAMS MORE THAN ONCE?

YES! We have created this course so you can master the information! Grades are based on the most recent grade you get on your quiz/test/exam, and you can go back to take them as many times as you need to in order to master the material!
